This is the same setting of type as Hughes.Whist.1822, so I have labeled it with Hughes, rather than Johnson. There are some minor differences.
This book lacks the address of Bob Short on page 8 and the colophon on page 32. Charles
Spencer Johnson was active in St. Martin's Lane in the late 1840s into the 1850s,
so the discrepency in dates is puzzling. |
